 9 day/8 night 

  • Day 1 - Arrive San Pedro Sula, Honduras transfer to Copan. Visit El Puente archaeological site on the way. Welcome dinner at hotel in the village of Copan Ruinas. (D)

  • Day 2 - Copan. Guided tour of this magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site and its new Museum of Maya Sculpture. After lunch in town, tour the Central Park Museum and its important collection of artifacts. Overnight in the village of Copan Ruinas. (B, L, D)

  • Day 3 - Quirigua and Rio Dulce. Morning transfer to Quirigua in Guatemala, where the Great Plaza contains the largest known stelae in the Mayan World. Overnight Cayos del Diablo Resort on the Bay of Amatique. (B, L, D)

    

  • Day 4 - Rio Dulce. Boat tour through the lush green cliffs bordering Rio Dulce. Visit the Garifuna village of Livingston on the Caribbean Sea. Later, the Machacas Tropical Rain Forest Preserve and the Spanish Colonial Fortress of San Felipe built in the 17th century. Overnight Cayos del Diablo Resort.  (B, L, D)

  • Day 5 - Rio Dulce to Tikal.  Depart Puerto Barios Airport to connect in Guatemala City for morning arrival at Flores Airport and transfer to the Jungle Lodge inside Tikal National Park.  (B, L, D)

  • Day 6 - Tikal. Extensive guided tour of this majestic UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Temple of the Great Jaguar, the Temple Overnight Jungle Lodge.  (B, L, D)

  • Day 7 - Tikal to Belize. After visiting the Yaxha and Topoxte archaeological sites on the shore of Yaxha Twin Lakes, enjoy a sumptuous picnic lunch and transit across the Belize border Here you will be met by your Belize guide for transfer to your lodge near San Ignacio in western Belize.  (B, L, D)

  • Day 8 - Caracol. Full day tour of Caracol, the largest site in Belize and once the most densely populated site in Mesoamerica. Overnight near San Ignacio, Belize. (B, L, D)

  • Day 9 - Departure. Transfer to Belize International Airport for departure.
